Double Scalar Production at LHC and Beyond

The simplest extension of the Standard Model is to add a gauge singlet scalar: the singlet extended Standard Model.  Although simple, this model is quite well-motivated and has an interesting phenomenology.  Of particular interest is that this model can provide a mechanism for the strong first order phase transition necessary for electroweak baryogenesis. In this talk I will give an overview of this model as well as its interesting phenomenology.  This will include a general discussion of the various double scalar final states and how these searches relate to viability of the strong first order electroweak phase transition.  I will also provide benchmark points that maximize double Higgs production at the LHC in this model.
