Title: B_c: Fully reconstructed decays and mass measurement
Abstract:
We report on a measurement of the mass of the B_c meson by
recontructing the decay B_c --> J/\psi + pi, with J/\psi --> mu+ mu-.
The measurement is based on 360 pb^{-1} of integrated pp-bar
luminosity at 1.96 TeV collected by the CDF II experiment at
the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. Based on a fit to the mass
spectrum giving a signal of 18.9 +- 5.7 events, the mass of the
B_c meson is measured to be 6287.0 +- 4.8 (stat) +- 1.1 (syst) MeV/c^2.
