Program for Latin American Students 2007-2008

Fermilab has a program for students who are currently in at least their second year of a theoretical physics Ph.D. program at a Latin American University. Up to two such students will be invited to Fermilab for up to a six-month period, between November 2007 and October 2008, to work with a member of the Fermilab Theory Group on subjects of mutual interest. Information about the Theory Group is available at the links above. Fermilab will provide salary and accommodation for the successful applicants. Information on the program can be obtained from Dr. Marcela Carena (carena@fnal.gov).

Applicants should submit their curriculum vitae, a description of their research interests, information on their graduate course grades, and two letters of recommendation before November 15, 2007. One of the letters must be from their Ph.D. advisor (who should agree with this possible six-month stay at Fermilab as part of their Ph. D. research activities):
