Program for Latin American Students 2012

Theoretical Physics - Theoretical Physics Directory - Fermilab at Work - Telephone/email

Fermilab has a program for students who are currently in at least their second year of a theoretical physics Ph.D. program at a Latin American university. Up to two such students will be invited to Fermilab for a six-month period, April - September 2012, to work with a member of the Fermilab Theory Group on subjects of mutual interest. Information about the Theory Group is available at the links above. Fermilab will provide salary and accommodation for the successful applicants. Information on the program can be obtained from Dr. Marcela Carena (carena@fnal.gov).

Applicants should submit their curriculum vitae, a description of their research interests, information on their graduate course grades, and two letters of recommendation before December 30, 2011. One of the letters must be from their Ph.D. advisor (who should agree with this possible six-month stay at Fermilab as part of their Ph. D. research activities):

Apply at Academic Jobs Online.

Information about previous participants in the Fermilab Latin American student program can be found here.
