The Fermilab Theoretical Physics Department expects to make several post-doctoral research appointments, carrying three-year terms, beginning October 1, 2008. The senior staff of the department now consists of Bill Bardeen, Thomas Becher, Marcela Carena, Bogdan Dobrescu, Estia Eichten, Keith Ellis, Walter Giele, Patrick Fox, Christopher Hill, Boris Kayser, Andreas Kronfeld, Joe Lykken, Paul Mackenzie, Stephen Parke, Chris Quigg, and Peter Skands. Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae, including a list of publications and a statement of research interests, and arrange to have letters of recommendation sent by three senior physicists. These correspondences should be received at Fermilab by December 1, 2007, and should be addressed to:

The Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory and the University of Chicago invite applications for a joint appointment as a Scientist I or II in the Theoretical Physics Department at Fermilab and as an Associate or Full Professor of Physics at the University of Chicago. Applicants are expected to have an outstanding record of scientific
accomplishment in aspects of theoretical physics closely connected to experimental elementary particle physics.

The appointment in the Department of Physics at the University of Chicago would involve a half-time teaching load.
