FERMILAB THEORETICAL PHYSICS
2008 SUMMER VISITORS PROGRAM

Due to budgetary issues the Theory Group cannot provide any financial
support for the summer of 2008.
However, visitors able to provide their own financial support are
welcome to apply.

The Fermilab Theory Group plans to run its regular summer visitors program during the summer of 2008. The ideal applicant for this program is a Ph.D. theoretical physicist who wishes to spend approximately two weeks at Fermilab and who is involved in an active research program that is related to the current particle physics topic of the program. Fermilab will attempt to provide provide suitable on-site housing plus a modest per diem for selected participants. No travel expenses will be provided.
Applications must be received by February 28, 2008 and a decision will be made by late March 2008.

Please note: Since the theory group's access to on site housing is severely limited, flexibility in your requested dates greatly increases your chances of being able to participate. |

For those coming by themselves the housing choices are DORM ROOM or SHARED HOUSE/APT (own bedroom) with other Theory visitors if this can be arranged.For those coming with family
members we will provide you with an appropriate sized
on-site HOUSE/APT.
Please specify COMPANIONS and
number of bedrooms required.
Flexibility in your dates is especially important here.We will also need to know the
ages of any children accompanying you.

No CV or list of publications is necessary, as we will use spires or the
HEP bulletin boards if we are unfamiliar with your research.
