Interpreting LHC data requires a few assumptions, even from an Effective Field Theory approach. I will put a question mark on a few on them and study their effects: considering triple Higgs coupling in single Higgs observables gives a complementarity between single and double Higgs; adding anomalous fermion-vector boson couplings in diboson data ends up with bounds of the order of LEP Z-pole observables; and I will compare direct bounds on composite top partners with indirect electron and neutron EDM constraints.
